Safety Measures: Participants are required to wear a life vest at all times, both on the rivers, creeks, tributaries, Lackawanna Lake at Lackawanna State Park, Frances Slocum Lake at Frances Slocum State Park, and the Susquehanna River, as well as while swimming.

Acknowledgment of Inherent Risks: Engaging in outdoor activities carries inherent hazards and risks, including serious injury and death. Participants are aware and willingly assume these risks, understanding that adverse weather and conditions of Lackawanna Lake, Frances Slocum Lake, the Susquehanna River, and its many tributaries can add to the inherent dangers.

Liability and Consent: All participants must sign a liability and consent form before embarking on their trip. Minors under 18 require a parent or guardian’s signature on the form.

Waterway Conditions: Conditions on waterways, including Lackawanna Lake, Frances Slocum Lake, the Susquehanna River, and its many tributaries, can vary, and participants are urged to paddle at their own risk. The company reserves the right not to travel if deemed unsafe due to waterway conditions.

Inner Tube Disclaimer: It is unlawful to launch or retrieve swimming aids, such as inner tubes and similar devices, from access areas managed for fishing and boating by the Commission. Participants must comply with this regulation and refrain from launching or retrieving inner tubes from state ramps.

Park Closure and Return: Participants must ensure they are off the water, return the rented craft, and leave Lackawanna State Park, Frances Slocum State Park, or any other specified locations before the parks close, typically before sunset.
